What this tool is for
Character Counter helps you check exact character limits for forms, metadata, social posts and product descriptions. Processing happens in the current browser session, so the normal workflow does not require uploading the text to BiNotePads.
How to use Character Counter

Before you use the output
Add a space between Hi and the exclamation mark and the with-spaces count increases to four. The without-spaces count excludes whitespace, including line breaks. A combined emoji can contain multiple code points, so the number is not always the number of visible symbols. If you are filling a platform-limited field, verify its own counter after pasting.

Platforms may count line breaks, combined emoji and Unicode symbols differently. Keep the original text, verify important results and use a specialized application when a task carries legal, security, financial or production risk.

This tool is intended for ordinary text and development samples. Do not paste passwords, authentication tokens, private keys, payment information, medical records or confidential client data into a general-purpose web page. Closing or refreshing the page can remove unsaved input.

Why can the result differ from another application?
